This expansive, miraculous world we live in is often seen as very materialistic. The rich and powerful have commandeered the narrative showcasing their lush, extravagant lifestyles to elicit envy in others. The “get ahead or fall behind” mentality frequently leads to a dead end. Unsuspecting observers can sometimes be left forever wanting, utterly unaware of the sublime beauty in living a simple, fulfilled life.
We live in a time when humanity has been pushed up against a wall and now forced to seek out alternative ways of thinking and living, still; there are those who go on and on about how change is detrimental. Change is the one constant in life, yet so many struggle to hang on to the comfortable and familiar rather than face the inevitable. Granted, it isn’t always an agreeable shift, but why fight it? It really is a useless waste of time and energy.
During my short expedition on Earth, I couldn’t even begin to count how many times my life has been rebooted, and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one. Some of the adjustments can be difficult at best, but also enlightening and empowering. Only in retrospect can we clearly define the why of it.
While we're in the middle of a dire situation, it feels like a tempest rising from within, tearing at our very foundation. It is true that sometimes there has to be a tearing down in order to rebuild. We meander through life, totally unaware of the deep reservoir of strength and perseverance that lies dormant, until faced with extreme difficulties. Often, it is the obstacles and hardships that render the most valuable lessons.
If you could go back in time and change some things, would you? To have been spared the grief is a tempting proposition, but where we’ve been brings us here. It’s the routes we’ve traveled that lead to where we are and the path ahead will bring clarity. It is very reassuring to know that our purpose is being fulfilled throughout our journey. The false sense of absolute control, and the will to impose it, is one of most insidious perceptions, leading to many a brutal downfall.
Spirituality is a key component in seeking peace within the storm. Belief in a higher power at work helps to see through the facade of turmoil. Clarity about the challenges, and opportunities they presents, often escapes us as we struggle to leverage some of the more disturbing aspects of life.
Those who cannot ride the wave of change often find themselves drowning in a sea of tears.
There has been a major shift in awareness and it is palpable. Some see it as a curse while others are ascending. Either way, there is no denying the galvanizing force that has descended upon us. Whether we use it for growth or hostility is a matter of free will.
The political landscape is one thing, but there is another entity at work here and, for better or worse, it commands attention. Our obligation is to define and embrace what it means to be human, made in the image of God. Not an easy task when we are inundated with toxic narrations designed to divide and conquer. To rise with this ascending tide is to be in great awareness of the immense value in each individual. As in Noah’s day, there will always be those who choose to be left behind, as they mock and ridicule, but this spiritual ark will buoy us above the malignant rhetoric of doomsday naysayers.
Of course, we have to be cognizant of the parasitic predators who crave world dominance. The hubris of these creatures is astounding! As time passes there will be revelations about many trusted and respected personalities who have done some very bad things. People whose existence relies on unmitigated lust, greed, power, money and putrid self indulgence will seek refuge and find none. They attained nefarious influence at the expense of millions of lives thereby crushing the dignified sovereignty of souls. The clock is ticking towards full exposure. Centuries of ill will toward humanity is being met with a strident counterforce, the likes of which has never been seen…until now.
As we become more and more aware, informed and enlightened, we will realize that those we once admired…you know, the ones who have fame and fortune, garishly flaunting it, as if their lives are the epitome of success. The shallow nature of their existence will eventually be revealed and all will come to realize that this superficial lifestyle is rife with corruption, inequity and perversion.
Without a doubt, it will be difficult to come to terms with the licentious nature of the “elite” parasites. After all, many of them are in our favorite movies, sing our favorite songs and are societal icons of every stripe. People held up as modern-day idols will experience a thundering descent. The bigger you are, the harder you fall. Many of the cultural standards will soon be seen as villainous. Things we were taught to believe will be exposed in the coming months and years, as the world begins to tear down the veil of secrecy, solely manufactured to solicit discontent, unrest, illness and death…there will be no quarter for such depravity. Those who occupy places of trust, and fidelity while engaging in debauchery, will be hardest hit. Once the masks have been ripped from their faces, we will clearly see how we have been misinformed, misguided and misled. The celebrities are already feeling the sting of rejection.
Fundamentals such as God, family and country are to be the focus of the future. Our vocation is to benefit humanity and share the innate gifts we possess. The prospect of an enlightened, growth-oriented outlook for generations to come is a viable perspective indeed!
