We have all had many dreams during our  lives. Some vague as vapor, some confusing and confounding, some downright terrifying and still, there are others that feel like something of an epiphany or supernatural occurrence. Dreams and messages from another realm have been part of the human condition dating back to Biblical times and most likely, even before then. There are many who have received these directives only to let them wither away, in fear of being thought of as insane or misguided. Others heard the message and followed through to remarkable conclusions. As an infant, Jesus was spared Herod's wrath when, in a dream, an Angel came to Joseph to tell him to take his family to Egypt (Matthew 2:13).   

The Bible has many references to dreams and messages from God.
