The Orb Phenomenon

There have only been a very few occasions where I have captured what is commonly referred to as an Orb. I instinctively know that these Beings of Light have a protective, insightful nature. A guide of some sort that has been, and always will be, with us. We all have Guardian Angels and Spiritual Guides...could this be one of the forms they take while accompanying us on our earthly journey? It seems that color is significant when it comes to Orbs. Other than the first orb, which was like a white spotlight on stones, more recently, orange is the color I have captured...more than once.

The Possibilities are Endless
Many people go through life in search of meaning and purpose. A radical approach to this longing is just to be still and let our direction unfold before us. Following our paths from days to weeks to years can be difficult, especially when we feel we're not in control. Having control over everything in life is a false premise that often leads to disappointment and despair. Recognizing that God is the sole authority, and author of life, at all times, can release the pressure we put on ourselves. There are signs, signals and miracles, all around us, that go completely unnoticed...but they are there.

4th Encounter
Massachusetts Mall
Quite an unusual place and frankly, who would've thought? I am currently working on a plan to assist brick and mortar business. It breaks my heart to go to a mall and find that at least 50% of storefronts are shuttered and the small town businesses struggling. I went to photograph the desolation with the hope that somehow by documenting this travesty, I could somehow make a difference. When reviewing my photos I was surprised to find that my orange orb was there with me. It felt like an affirmation of purpose and very consoling.
3rd Encounter
Virginia
As my husband and I continued with our epic road trip to the Grand Canyon and back, we made a stop in Virginia. A stunning country setting with bungalows and a view to die for. As I proceeded to photograph various aspects of the property the same orange orb showed up near the fence of the entrance. Orange orbs are indicative of vitality and joy.
2nd Encounter
Grand Canyon
This astonishing capture at the Grand Canyon simply took my breath away. It actually started out looking like a small flame hovering in the trees below and eventually evolved into this circular, orange orb with a darkish center. When it comes to the Orb anomaly, it is a very personal and enigmatic experience, not easily grasped by those who are solely of, and in, this world. In order to experience our spiritual aspect we must be open to the wonder of God and the infinite ways he communicates with us.
1st Encounter
Indian Grave Site
This encounter occurred deep in the woods of New England. There were strange mounds of stone that we thought were graves. I counted more than 10 of them in the area. As I began to take photographs, my camera was acting strange and wouldn't shoot for a few minutes then, when I persisted and took some shots, this appeared on one of the rock mounds. Perfectly circular and the white glow astounded me when I observed the photograph. According to some sources, the brilliant white light of an orb is indicative of the presence of an Angelic being.
